Slanted Magazine – TypoLyrics  bauer – konzept & gestaltung contributed to the recently published book “TypoLyrics – The Sound of Fonts”. Initiated by the typography magazine Slanted, designers were asked to combine contemporary typefaces with lyrics to create an expressive, illustrative presentation. We were inspired by the hardcore punk band Minor Threat and conflated their lyrics with the font Reklame Stencil, which we created. Applied onto a wine bottle, the distinctive type design encounters with a text written by the founders of the Straight Edge movement. Slanted Magazine
